We all have our go-to flavors. For me, it's honey and lemon. They're always reliable, easy to have on hand year round, and they taste great. This classic cocktail is a stripped down version of a whiskey sour - just without the egg and for some, bitters.
- 2 ounces whiskey
- 3/4 ounces lemon juice
- 3/4 ounces 1:1 honey syrup
Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake for about 10 seconds. Pour over a large ice cube in a rocks glass and garnish with a lemon wheel or peel.
